Our Story
Home Baked Sweets was born from a simple belief: no one should have to miss out on the good stuff.
Founded in 2023, Home Baked Sweets is a gluten-free bakery specializing in desserts that taste just as indulgent as their gluten-filled counterparts. Our goal is to create treats that everyone can enjoy—whether you’re gluten-free by necessity or choice, or just someone who loves a really good dessert.
My love for baking started long before this became a business. Baking was always my go-to—when I was stressed, when I needed something fun to do, for class presentations, and for every single birthday. It quickly became a family tradition: I made the birthday cakes, brought the holiday desserts for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—you name it. If you saw me, chances were I was showing up with a sweet treat in hand.
After graduating high school in 2022, I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to do. I never imagined baking as a profession. In fact, I wrote my senior exit interview about becoming an airplane pilot. I thought I’d move to Utah, go to college, and figure life out from there.
Instead, I took a leap of faith and followed my passion.
I got a full-time job, committed to 40-hour work weeks, and poured every extra ounce of time and energy into building Home Baked Sweets. I push every single day for this business, for my family, and for the dream I believe in. Now at 21, I’m still working full time—but my heart is here, creating desserts that bring people together and make everyone feel included.
This isn’t just baking to me.
